This policy explains what personal information Mostert Digital collects when you use this website or engage our services, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run our business.
Information you give us. When you contact us, book a call, or engage our services, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, business name, and anything else you choose to tell us about your project.
Mobile telephone numbers and messaging consent. Where you provide a mobile telephone number and separately consent to receive text messages, we record that number, the consent you gave, and the date, time, and web page on which you gave it. We keep this record so we can demonstrate that you asked to hear from us. Consent is never a condition of enquiring about or purchasing our services.
Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server logs including IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. If analytics are enabled, aggregate usage data is also collected. See our Cookie Policy.
Client project information. During an engagement we may hold access credentials, analytics data, and content belonging to your business. We treat this as confidential and use it only to deliver the work.
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, send invoices and administer contracts, meet legal and tax obligations, and — only where you have asked for it — send occasional updates. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
If you have given consent, we may send text messages to the mobile number you provided. What we send depends on which consent you gave, and the two are recorded separately.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and messaging platform providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Reply HELP for assistance. Full details of our messaging programme, including frequency and rates, are set out in our SMS Terms and our Terms of Service.
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interest in operating and marketing a business, balanced against your rights; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent, where consent is the appropriate basis and can be withdrawn at any time.
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, each bound to protect it: our website host and its infrastructure providers, our email provider, our customer relationship and messaging platform, our scheduling and invoicing tools, and our accountant. These providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not transfer your data to anyone else without telling you. The restriction in Section 3 applies regardless of anything in this section: mobile numbers and messaging consent are never shared for marketing or promotional purposes.
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as tax and contractual record-keeping requires. Server logs rotate on our host's standard schedule.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you additionally have rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access control on client credentials, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on this page.
